Claivy ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our service at claivyai.com.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Your email address and name, collected when you sign in via Google OAuth, used solely for account management and communication.
  • Resume & CV data: The documents and personal career information you upload or enter into the Service in order to use our AI adaptation features.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the Service (pages visited, features used, adaptation counts) to improve the product.
  • Payment data: Transaction metadata (plan type, billing date, subscription status). We do not store credit or debit card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the AI resume adaptation service you requested.
  • To manage your subscription, process payments, and send receipts.
  • To communicate important service updates, security notices, and support responses.
  • To improve and develop new features of the Service.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. AI Processing

We use Google Vertex AI (including Gemini models) to process your resume data and generate adapted content. Your data is transmitted to Google's API infrastructure under Google's Data Processing Agreement. We do not use your content to train AI models. Google's privacy practices are governed by the Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Paddle — Our international payment processor. Handles card data in compliance with PCI-DSS. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
  • Bold — Our payment processor for Colombian users. Handles COP transactions in compliance with Colombian financial regulations.
  • Supabase — Our database and authentication provider, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States.
  • Google Cloud Run — Our backend infrastructure, operated in the us-central1 region.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and CV information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate data.
  • The right to delete your account and associated data.
  • The right to data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).
  • For Colombian residents: rights under Ley 1581 de 2012 (Colombia's data protection law).
  • For EU/EEA residents: rights under the GDPR.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Usage analytics, if any, are conducted through privacy-respecting tools that do not identify individual users.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted data storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
